Our Story

At CityQuest we love to explore the unknown. We’ve treasure-hunted, scavenger hunted and solved mysteries all over the world – and it’s time we shared our love and passion for exploring with everyone else!

Our Story

As a husband and wife duo, this is very much a family-oriented venture – we’re using the kids to proofread the Quests! Growing up in York history was never far away – and even having lived in York for nearly 40 years we still discover new things every time we go into the city. It’s a truly magical place.

Our friends think we’re nuts, trying to hold down a full time jobs each, handle our kids and our dogs alongside our existing two businesses, but this isn’t a chore or a job – it’s a passion to share our experiences with the world.
 

Our mission is to get kids away from their screen for an afternoon, discover the world and engage with history. If your kids are anything like ours, that’s not an easy mission!
 

Our Quests are family-friendly adventures discovering new history, solving riddles and enjoying time together.
 

The Quests combine the old and new. We use technology to complete our adventures. The Quest Pack with each Quest mean even little hands can get involved. We have found the best experiences allow everyone to get involved, no matter age or skill set. Our Quests have something for everyone!
